Editorial policy

How we decide what is worth publishing.

This applies to everything on this site and to everything we write on behalf of a client. It is short because the rules are few and we actually follow them.

Who writes

Every post on this blog carries a byline and nothing is published anonymously. Where a piece is one person's work it is bylined to them and links to their profile. Where it is the house view it is bylined to Gemela Media and links to the team. Jenny Stojkovic, Zoli Honig and Pav Stojkovic are real people with profiles you can check, and every byline resolves to one of them or to the company they run.

Client work is different in one respect and one only: the client's name is on it, because it is their argument. We build the reasoning with them and they approve every word before it publishes.

What we will not do

  • We do not invent numbers. Every statistic on this site belongs to Jenny, Zoli or Pav and is traceable to a real account or a real company.
  • We do not publish case studies or client results we cannot evidence, and we do not publish a client's numbers without their permission.
  • We do not publish testimonials we have not been given. If you do not see a wall of quotes on this site, that is why.
  • We do not generate posts from a prompt and ship them. The digital twin exists to carry a person's reasoning, not to replace it.
  • In regulated professions we write to the rules of that profession. For lawyers that means the firm stays responsible for compliance in its jurisdiction, and we do not write testimonials, claims of expertise or results comparisons unless the rules permit them and the firm has approved the language.

Review before anything publishes

Nothing reaches a feed without a human reading it in full. For client work the client is the last reader, always, and their approval is the gate. Where a post relies on a claim about how the platform behaves, we say what we have observed across the accounts we run rather than asserting a ranking rule nobody outside LinkedIn can see. That constraint is why you will not find algorithm hacks on this blog.

Corrections

If something here is wrong we will change it, and where the correction is substantive we will mark it on the page with the date rather than editing quietly. Write to hello@gemelamedia.com and it will reach one of the three of us.

Updates and freshness

Posts carry the date they were published and, where they have been revised, the date they were last updated. A page that has not changed does not get its date refreshed to look current.
